WWF Endorsment
The Living Plant Fund is an established leader in the field of Responsible Investment (RI). It was launched in 2003 as a subsidiary of WWF International, the world’s best known nature conservancy agency.
WWF International and its network of National Offices around the world help to plan, fund and manage a wide range of programmes that address the environmental threats facing the world today. It works in close partnership with governments, national and international organizations and leading global companies on joint initiatives to combat climate change, preserve natural resources, protect diversity and species, and improve the living standards in subsistence economies.
WWF sets the investment criterias. The Fund’s managers co-ordinate on a regular basis with relevant WWF experts on various investment themes. The discussions cover a range of environmentally-related sectors and enable improved judgements and assessments of the business outlook of potential investment themes - themes such as Water, Renewable Energy, Transportation and Housing.
